Anupam Mittal is a well-known Indian billionaire, entrepreneur and fashion icon, born on December 23, 1971. He received his MBA in Operations & Strategic Management from Boston College in the US, and then went on to become the founder and CEO of People Group and Shaadi.com, with a net worth of $23 million (Rs. 185 Crores).Anupam Mittal has achieved numerous awards and accolades. 

These include the Karamveer Puraskar, being listed in '50 Most Powerful People in India' by Business Week, and in 'Top 100 NRIs in North America' by India Abroad. 

He also became a board member of LetsVenture Online and Zepo, worked as an advisor at ShaadiSaga, Grip, and Kae Capital, and was the co-chairperson of H2 India.

Anupam Mittal loves to play boxing and often endorses branded and luxurious commercials on his Instagram account. 

He was also listed in the Week magazine among the top 25 people who were frequently searched and advises and invests in some of India's top venture capital businesses. In 2021, he appeared as one of the judges of the business reality show Shark Tank telecasted on Sony Entertainment, and made investments in many startups in the show.

He had invested in more than 200 start-up ventures, including Interactive Avenues, Sapience Analytics, Big Basket, Cafe Zoe, Ketto, Druva, Pretty Secrets, TaxSpanner, Peel Works, FarEye, Prop Tiger, and Makaan.com, the online real estate portal in India which he launched in 2007. He also produced two movies named Flavors and 99.Anupam Mittal is the current Chairman of Peoples Group.

 Grant MacKenzie, President and CEO of Peoples Group, invited three new members to the Board of Directors in 2018 - David Ghermezian, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal. Namita Thapar, Ashneer Grover, Ghazal Alagh, and Aman Gupta are the other six judges of the show. 

He is married to Aanchal Kumar and they have a daughter named Alyssa Mittal.
