Shark Tank India Season 2 is the second season of the popular reality TV show that features aspiring entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas to a panel of experienced business professionals and investors, known as the 'sharks'. 

This year's season has 50 episodes, with six sharks on board: Anupam Mittal (Founder of People Group, Shaadi.com), Aman Gupta (Co-founder and CMO, boAt), Namita Thapar (Executive Director-India Business, Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-founder and CEO, SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder of Lenskart) and Amit Jain (Co-founder and CEO, CarDekho.com).The first episode of Shark Tank India Season 2 aired on January 2, 2023, and featured three pitches. 

The first pitch was by Very Much Indian, a Maharashtra-based saree startup. The sharks offered the startup Rs 50 lakh for 10% equity, with Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals and Aman Gupta, Co-founder and CMO at boAt investing in the company. 

The second pitch was by WatchOut Wearables, a smartwatch brand for kids. The startup asked for Rs 2 crore for 5% equity, and got a deal worth Rs 1 crore for 10% equity and Rs 1 crore debt @ 15% interest from Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh. 

The last pitch was by SoupX, a health food industry startup offering affordable and healthy soup options. They asked for Rs 75 lakh for 6% equity and got an offer of Rs 50 lakh for 18% equity and Rs 25 lakh debt @ 12% interest from Vineeta Singh.


Shark Tank India Season 2 is streaming on Sony Entertainment Channel and Sony LIV and new episodes air every Monday to Friday at 10 pm. The show has been a huge success among brands and advertisers, and is proving to be an excellent platform for introducing deep purposeful advertising in an engaging environment. With the show's growing popularity, it is no surprise that it has revolutionized reality shows in India.
